100m National Trials (South) - Hosted at The P.T Barn in Essex.
 

Gain automatic selection for the FISO OCR World Championships 100m at the P.T Barn 100m Head to Head competition.
 

This will be run in the exciting 'Head to Head' format.
 

We want to see a range of abilities come down and take on this awesome course. The set up will be designed in a way that there will be a Quicker and Slower route through the same obstacle, with opportunities for the more advanced to skip attachments, etc.

 

The event will be run in 3 rounds and split into Male and Female categories:

A. Round 1: Male (random draw).

B. Round 1: Female (random draw).
 

C. Round 2: Male (run in reverse order from Round 1 times, with the fastest going out last).

D. Round 2: Female (run in reverse order from Round 1 times, with the fastest going out last).
 

E. Round 3: The quickest 4 Males will move into the Semi Finals/Finals, where they will battle it out for the podium positions.

F. Round 3: The quickest 4 Females will move into the Semi Finals/Finals, where they will battle it out for the podium positions.

 

 

The 1st round will start at 10:00 and we would hope to be finished by 14:00-15:00.

Juniors are welcome to enter the main event, but please note that the distances/heights will be set up for Adults and as a result will not be suitable for all Juniors.

There will be a sperate Unofficial Junior Wave for 10+ Year Olds which will go off between Round 2 and Round 3. The course will be adapted slightly and the Juniors will be able to put a time on the board. They will get 2 attempts.

Although you will not be allowed on the main course prior to competing you will have full access to play, warm up and train on our other obstacles whilst waiting for your attempt.

 

The course itself will be all about Speed and Skill! It won’t overly technical but will include all the fundamentals that you would expect from an Obstacle Race.

 

The Rules and Penalty System will be in line with World Obstacle.


Main Event:
- £25 for British Obstacle Sports members.
-£30 for Non-Members.
 

 

Unofficial Junior Wave:
£10 for B.O.S Members as well as non-members.

There are 18 places available (9 Male, 9 Female) in the 100m FISO OCR World Championship British National Team. These will be selected via National Trials and a selection process.
 

100m Elite National Team (3 Male, 3 Female):

1. British Obstacle Sports 100m selection event (January 2023) winner.
2. Tartan Warrior selection event (March 2023) winner.
3. The P.T Barn selection event (May 2023) winner.

 

100m Age Group & Para National Team (4 Male, 4 Female) (All of the following are selected via the BOS Selection Committee):

1. Para Representative.
2. Youth AG10-15 Representative.
3. Junior AG16-19 Representative.
4. Masters 40+ Representative.
