400m OCR Training

Join us for a FREE training session and develop your 400m OCR Skills (B.O.S Members only).

Due to the cancellation of the 400m OCR British Champs, we will be putting on this FREE training session (B.O.S Members only).

We will start the session by breaking down skills and looking at techniques. As the session goes on we will start to build the course back up and start to link obstacles and transitions into longer flows.

This will be available for competitive athletes of 10+ (aimed at athletes who would be competing at a national champs - not just someone doing it because it is free).

🗓️ Date & Time:

Sunday 13th September 2026 | 09:00 – 12:00.

🏆 Location:

The P.T Barn (Between Langdon Hills + Corringham).

👥 Ages:

Open to racers aged 10 to 60+

We hope you can make it. Please let us know if you have any questions.

See you on the field!

Coach Scotty & The P.T Barn Team

------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dear Athletes and Community,

We have decided to step down as the hosts of the upcoming 400m OCR British Championships.

To deliver an event that meets our exceptionally high standards, we require a sustainable financial model.

Due to the current contract structure with B.O.S., low registration numbers (only one participant signed up with two months to go), and high upfront costs, the financial risk to our small business is simply too high.

Our mission has always been to elevate the standards of our sport. We operate our races to give back to the community, not to make a profit. However, we cannot afford to take on a significant financial loss.

To continue supporting our athletes, we are excited to host a FREE 400m Training Day to help develop skills and raise performance standards.

Date: Sunday, 13th September

Time: 09:00 - 12:00

We would like to thank B.O.S. for inviting us to host. Once the sport is further developed and backed by a more sustainable event model, we would love to assist again in the future.

Please note that the 3k event is still going ahead as planned. Registration for the 3k is strong, and the event structure allows us to run it safely and sustainably.

We look forward to seeing many of you on 13th September!

Best regards,

Coach Scotty
