The P.T Barn is the number 1 location for people looking to improve rig skills in a controlled environment. This workshop has been designed for those who can do basic Monkey Bars, Ropes, Rings etc and now want to learn how to put them all together on a Rig. Once you have learnt individual obstacles the next step is working out how to transition from one to another. We believe that with a few simple skills you can make this a lot easier than what you may think. Our main focus will be to make the obstacles easier rather than making you better. You becoming better happens after where you will need to practice, get stronger, fitter, etc. The workshop will start with a bit of a chat about rigs and what to expect from the session. We will be talking about 'PRE RIGGING' and the important role this plays in you completing obstacles. The next step will be to get functionally warmed up and learn the importance of a good warm up when trying to increase performance on Rigs. We will then work through some basic weight distribution techniques and move onto some skills on equipment. The next stage will be to break down a rig into sections where you will nail each section and learn how to get from the one you are on to the next. Rig transitioning is tough but if you break it down into smaller sections it becomes a lot easier. Towards the end of the session you will get a chance to take on the whole rig and put your skills to the test. The session will finish with a talk about ongoing training and ideas for exercises you can do at home, at the gym or in the local park to help you continue to progress.
